Friday 56

I love to read. I've neglected my writing over the past year or so, and so my reading also suffers. I've decided to post on Friday 56 here, just to get me back to the book I cannot seem to finish.

Friday 56: Between You & Me

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to this blog. Story time with Tonya
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

They're still struggling. And in the east they're still getting refugees from Darfur. Good example of international failings ahead of the next G8.

The book I'm struggling to finish is" Between you & Me", by Kirsty Scott, don't know why. but I only allow myself one book a year to abandon due to "not good enough to finish" so I really try hard to finish most, just in case you buy a book and pay god awful prices for it and hate it.

Perhaps I'll finish it today.

I used to make myself finish every book I started just on principle but now if I don't like it I don't see the point in wasting my time.

Very neat post!! Love the idea also!
I grabbed the nearest book that I just started reading again. It is called, "The fragrance of Kindness".

On page 56 this is all it says, "If instead of a jewel, or even a flower, We could cast the gift of a lovely thought into the heart of another. That would be giving as the angels must give". -George macdonald

oopps...wanted to thank you for popping over to see me and leave a comment too! I totally agree that we do not write near as much as we used to and it definitely is a shame. In fact I have a post coming up soon kinda on that subject...
Blessings~
